Moto G31 device specifications :-
Moto is finally giving Amoled screen in its budget series devices. Moto G31 has a 20:9 aspect ratio, 6.4 inch FHD+ Amoled hole punch display, the only downside is that it is still a 60hz refresh rate screen but having an amoled screen under this price range is extremely rare. The screen resolution is 1080x2400 pixels and has a pixel density of 409ppi (pixels per inch). The device also comes with face unlock and fingerprint sensor which as mentioned is present on the back side of the phone. Talking about the software, as expected it runs on nearly stock Android 11 with few Moto specific features baked in. Moto promises to give Android 12 update soon to tha Moto G31.
Now talking about the camera's, as mentioned above Moto G31 comes with a triple camera setup on the back housing a 50 megapixal main sensor with an apperture of f/1.8, along with a 8 megapixal f/2.2 aperture wide angle camera, having a 118° field of view. Lastly there's a small 2 megapixal f/2.4 aperture sensor for macro shots and ofcourse we do have a LED flash present at the back as well. There are multiple camera modes available including portrait mode, night mode, pro mode, etc. Now talking about the front camera, the device comes with a 13 megapixel f/2.2 aperture sensor for taking selfies and video calls.
On the connectivity front the device supports 4G LTE, dual band WiFi, Bluetooth v5, GPS, GLONASS, etc. Thankfully the 3.5 mm headphone jack is still present and ofcourse we do have a USB Type-C port for charging. Proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, SAR sensor, and e-compass sensors are present as well. Moto G31 has a plastic unibody build and weighs 180 grams. The physical demensions are 161.89x74.60x8.45mm.
Moreover Moto is using an eMCP storage, although it is said to be faster than eMMC based storages but is slower than UFS based storage.
Conclusion :-
The Moto G31 seems to be a very well priced, new offering by Moto which will give tight competition to other Xiaomi and Realme devices under this budget.
