iQOO U5 DROPPED ON 3C CERTIFICATION SITE - A Budget Device ?

With the recent launch of iQoo 8 series in China, iQoo is once again planning to launch a new device for its U series. According to the reports, the device dropped on the 3C certification site, which confirms that iQoo is definitely going to launch this device in the near future. However the specifications seems to be that of a budget friendly midranger device. 

As of now, we have very few confirmed specifications. The model number of the device with which it is listed is V2165A and supposedly will be having 18W of fast charging, which again confirms that it is going to be a budget friendly device.

iQOO U5 rumoured specs :- 

Although the 3C certification is not enough to know all about the device but since the charging speed is supposed to be 18W, the battery capacity will probably be 5000 mAh, which is normal for current budget smartphone market. 

However, there have been multiple previous rumours stating that the device will house a 5G capable MediaTek Dimensity 800U system on a chip (soc) and will come with 8 GB of Ram and upto 128 GB of internal storage. The resolution of the screen is yet to be known but we can assume it to be a Full HD+ 20:9 aspect ratio IPS LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The detailed specifications of the rear and front cameras are unknown as of now. 

Since iQoo is currently focusing on the Chinese market, we might see more details about the device after it gets TENNA certification. The rumours also claims that the device will be running on iQoo Ui based on Android 11. As of now the device is only exclusive to Chinese market but hopefully we will see a global launch very soon.

Moreover, Xiaomi is very soon going to launch its next Redmi Note successor Redmi Note 11, so maybe iQoo is secretly planning to complete with Xiaomi with a device that offers the same specs under more affordable price and with a powerful 5G supported chipset which will help iQoo attract more customers.
