Oppo A58 5G Launched with 50 MP Camera, 90Hz Display : Price, Specifications

Oppo launched A58 5G on Tuesday in China. It is a mid-range offering from Oppo housing Mediatek Dimensity 700 SoC, which is an octa-core processor. The device comes with dual 5G support and has two nano sim slots. The Oppo A58 5G is equipped with a 50 MP dual rear camera setup and an 8 MP front camera. Talking about the front, A58 5G features a 6.5-inch HD+ 90Hz panel with a waterdrop-style camera cutout. It also houses a 5000 mAh battery which supports 33W SuperVooc charging.

Oppo A58 5G Specs:-

The device features a 6.5-inch HD+ (720x1612p) panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, the display can go bright up to 600 nits. The Oppo A58 5G houses a Mediatek Dimensity 700 SoC, which is paired with Dimensity 700 GPU. The device has 8GB of RAM which can be extended up to 5GB.

On the rear, the Oppo A58 5G houses a dual-camera setup, having a primary 50 MP f/1.8 sensor, and a 2 MP f/2.4 portrait camera. Also, there is an 8 MP f/2.0 selfie camera. These cameras can shoot 30fps full HD videos.

Talking about the physical dimensions, the device measures 163.8x75.04x7.99mm and has a weight of 188g. Oppo A58 5G houses a 5000 mAh battery which can offer up to 8.5 hours of gaming time, as claimed by Oppo. Also, there is support for 33W SuperVooc charging.

Lastly, the device runs on ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 and has Bluetooth v5.3 and Wi-Fi 5. A58 5G also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, and a fingerprint sensor which is side mounted.

Price and availability:-

The Oppo A58 5G can be pre-booked via Oppo China online store. It has only one 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM storage variant, which is priced at CNY 1699, which converts to roughly INR 19000. However, there are three color options - Star Black, Breeze Purple, and Tranquil Sea Blue.

The smartphone will go on sale from November 10 in China. As of now, there is no news available regarding whether the Oppo A58 5G will be available in other global markets or not.
