Hello, readers once more I'm back with a new article on S Duos 2 Gt-S7582. So today I am going to tell you How to flash TWRP Recovery in Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 GT-S7582.
Generally, there are two methods/ways to flash recovery in any Samsung device:
- Using Odin,
- Flashing via Flashify or Rashr,
but in the case of our S duos 2 if you flash TWRP via Flashify or Rashr then you face bugs while using it and also after flashing any zip file like custom ROMs so I will recommend you to flash TWRP via Odin only so here I'll tell u everything step by step so be sure to follow all the steps carefully or else you may brick your device.
How to flash TWRP Recovery in Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 GT-S7582
Things Required:
- A PC, Computer, or Laptop
- Data cable (to connect your via pc)
- Odin installed on your pc and lastly
- Samsung USB drivers installed on your pc.
- TWRP.S7582.tar.md5 (download link is given below)
Steps to follow:
- I will not be responsible if you bricked your device.
- Take a backup of all your apps and data for safety purposes.
- Now let's proceed to TWRP.
- Open your computer/pc/laptop and connect it to your phone using a data cable.
- Open your phone then go to settings-developer options and enable USB debugging
(if u can't find the developer option then you have to enable it by going to settings-about phone and clicking on your build number simultaneously i.e., 5-6 times)
- Now switch off your device and go to Odin mode by pressing the vol down+power+home button.
- Now open Odin you will see Added on the left side of Odin.
- Now click on AP/PDA depending on which version of TWRP you are using.
- Now locate to TWRP.S7582.tar.md5 where you have copied it.
- Wait for a few secs for letting Odin detect your file and click on start.
- Now wait for a few secs as soon as you see pass on Odin your device will automatically reboot.
- Do not let the device reboot so open up your battery fast.
Note: The battery needs to be opened so that your device must not re-flash your stock recovery again.
- Now reboot into your recovery by pressing the vol up+power+home button.
- Now you will be booted into your custom recovery i.e., TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project)
Note: While for the first time, it may ask you that 'Make system partition read only' so check that box or tick it saying never show this during boot again and slide to apply it now you can flash anything using TWRP.

Now if you wanna flash any zip file just go to install and select your file and swipe to flash it, you can also wipe your data, cache, and dalvik cache using TWRP by going to wipe-advance wipe.
