Here's a first look at Google Pixel Fold, the first foldable device by Google, the codename for this device is 'Project Passport'. As per the leaks, Google is planning to launch this device in May 2023. Google Pixel Fold will be having a metal and glass body. There's a massive inner display and of course an outer display, instead of an under-display camera or hole punch cutout the inner display has bezels, both at the top and the bottom. On the other hand, the outer display has a hole punch cutout for the selfie camera.
The renders were leaked by Jon Prosser on his YouTube channel 'Front Page Tech'. As mentioned above the device is codenamed 'Project Passport'. As per the renders, the device is supposed to be 'very heavy', since it is made up of metal and glass.
Since the Pixel Fold is a foldable device, there's a massive inner display with slight bezels at the top and the bottom, and there's no hole punch cutout for the front camera or an under-display camera. We can expect the front camera to be housed inside those bezels. The front selfie camera is going to be a 9.5MP sensor.
On the rear, the Pixel Fold has a triple camera setup, there will be speakers both on the top and the bottom. The fingerprint sensor will be embedded in the power button of the device.
Other specs about the device are still unknown, it is said to have a usual 'Pixel-Esque performance', alongside the “Pixel flagship camera”. Google Pixel Fold could have two color options: Chalk (white) and Obsidian (black). Google is expected to price their Pixel Fold at $1799, which converts to roughly Rs. 150000. It'll be launched alongside Google Pixel Tablet in May 2023.
